Harley Davidson Chopper 1969
Great level of detail o geometry and textures. Note that while this model is relatively accurate to the Harley Davidson Chopper of 1969 there are small differences and is not intended to be an exact replica of that bike model.
This product was made 100% with Cinema4D 10, no plugins used or required.
All images were render with the Cinema4D Advanced renderer with global illumination. No modifications were made to the images other than levels adjustments in Photoshop.
Quads and triangles only.
Topology was carefully crafted adding more details where needed rather than relying on brute force subdivision procedures.
Planar projection was used to generate uv's were necessary.
Materials are native Cinema4D materials.
9 textures files are used on various materials in the size range of 512 to 1024. Textures were sized based on the area they cover and on how important the detail for that texture is.
Normal map textures were used to add relief and details. e.g the logo and tires.
While the model is not considered rig, cables for the breaks and clutch were rigged so they follow the fork and steer handles.
A visual selector was setup to easily select the steering axis to adjust direction when posing.
12/02/2012 improved geometry and accuracy.
